About FIT

The permanent house that builds, matures and sells operations.

FIT is not an asset for sale. It sells what matures — proof that the model works.

Purpose

No economy grows without markets that protect, finance and distribute risk with efficiency. Building that efficiency — and the growth it unlocks for Brazil and Latin America — is why FIT exists. Everything it builds — reinsurance, MGAs, distribution, retail, health, credit, govtech, AI — serves that purpose.

What FIT is

FIT is an institutional holding that develops independent businesses in insurance, reinsurance, credit, distribution, digital retail, MGAs, data and applied technology. It applies the same institutional discipline to each: governance, long-term relationships, technical expertise and distribution capability.

It contributes patient capital, structures governance and connects operations to global capital and market relationships — while leaving each business with its own identity, brand and leadership.

How FIT creates value

FIT does not create value by owning companies; it creates value through how it develops them — capital discipline, governance and a long-term view applied to building businesses across reinsurance, credit, distribution, health and technology.

Technical precision

Across the operations, the risk vertical works in reinsurance broking and specialty lines, with capacity structured in the international market, and in MGA / delegated-authority underwriting. Artificial intelligence is operational proof delivered by the technology operations — not the holding's identity.

Founding partners

Ivan Aragão — legacy, governance and business cycles. Felipe Aragão (co-founder & CCO of Latin Re) — reinsurance, MGAs and global capital. Rodrigo Aragão — retail, distribution and applied technology. Each owns a distinct territory of the same institutional thesis.

Track record

The partners have built and sold reinsurance operations before — Alexander Forbes Reinsurance in Brazil (taken to 3rd in the national ranking, sold to Lockton), UIB Re Brazil, and JLT Re Brazil, the country's largest reinsurance broker, whose stake they sold in 2017. A demonstrated ability to build, mature and realise value.
